October 5! Questions=The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks

1. The Tuskegee Institute open the first “HeLa factory in 1952.
The company named Microbiological Associates would begin selling HeLa for profit.

2. Henrietta Lacks born in Roanoke,virgina in 1920.

3. George Gey successfully cultures the first immortal human cell line using cells from Henrietta    Lacks’s cervix (in 1951).
    The name HeLa was the first two initials of Henrietta’s first and last names.

5.The name of the hospital was called Johns Hopkins hospital.
   It was founded in 1889.

6.HeLa cells become the first cells ever cloned in 1953.
